Jon Stewart mocks media over Trayvon Martin coverage

After returning from his vacation on Monday night, Daily Show host Jon Stewart took on the controversy surrounding the tragic shooting of Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

Although Stewart had hoped to fill his segment with inevitable Dick Cheney heart transplant jokes, he could not avoid the Trayvon Martin story.

“I feel like Florida and Arizona are locked in a harms race,” he joked, in reference to Florida’s contentious “Stand your ground” law.

Colbert: Romney’s hair snaps on like a ‘Lego man’
On his return from his week-long break, Stephen Colbert couldn’t wait to address Mitt Romney being compared to an Etch A Sketch Monday evening, agreeing that both are “square and colorless.”

“Now see, people think that’s a metaphor for Romney being inconsistent but the Etch A Sketch is very consistent,” the Comedy Central host said. “You can shake it all you want, and all you’re ever going to be able to draw is stairs.”
