Battle for the Democrats??
Bachmann’s out...
Tea Party favorite, Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) announced on Wednesday she will not run for re-election for her fifth term. In July 2010, Michele launched the House Tea Party Caucus, but declared “I am not the head of the tea party.”
The GOP
Conservative, well known for opposing the Obama Healthcare Bill. Also, is facing
multiple investigations of her failed presidential finances, insisted this was
not a consideration in her decision.
Even though Bachmann
squeaked in a win against Democrat businessman Jim Graves, doesn’t mean it will
give the Democrats a upper hand. It just became a whole lot harder. Minnesota’s
Sixth District, represented by Bachmann, leans Republican. It is one of the most
conservative districts in the state. Although, it isn’t a tea party haven, a
moderate Republican could cause a real challenge for
Graves.
So as I end this,
