You could buy 83 Dreamliner's, and it still wouldn't add up to the cost the government shutdown had on the economy over the past 16 days
So, with that whopping number in mind, here are nine things that are less than the cost of our government being shut down for a mere two weeks and two days:
IBM's third-quarter revenues.
The American Red Cross's total yearly operating expenses... multiplied by seven.
The revenues from two and a half NFL seasons.
The Yankees payroll, 100 times over.
The annual GDP for El Salvador.
