Dear MoveOn member,
A Tricky Mitt in the Oval Office would spell disaster for the 99%.
So MoveOn members are already fighting back. Last Friday, we swarmed 100 Romney offices to demand he release more than one year of his tax records, and we're crashing Tricky Mitt's PR stops and 1% fundraisers—from Louisiana to California.1
To take on Mitt and the billionaire-funded Super PACs, MoveOn members across the country will make sure voters everywhere know that Romney is the right candidate—for the 1%.
It's time to launch an aggressive, people-powered campaign to stop Romney and the 1% from taking over. That's why MoveOn members are throwing hundreds of 2012 Election Community Parties this weekend, to lay out our election strategy and kick-start the campaign. At the parties, we'll get to know each other, build community, and get fired up for this November.
A local MoveOn member is throwing a 2012 Election Community Party in Aurora on Saturday at 4:00 PM. Can you make it?
If you think Romney doesn't have a shot, check the latest polls.2 With $1 billion committed by Super PACs to mislead voters, Romney will have a huge spending advantage.3 So we're leveraging our size—7 million members—to register voters in swing states, organize massive protests at Romney's fundraisers, and get out the vote this November.
If we get enough MoveOn members involved this election, we'll reach critical voters with our message about Romney and get unlikely but progressive voters to the polls. The 2012 Election Community Parties are an easy way to meet new people and get involved this election season.
On Saturday at 4:00 PM in Aurora, there's an election party for MoveOn members. Can you make it?
Thanks for all you do.
